Fabinho: I'll Convince Mbappe to Join Liverpool

Fabinho has revealed that he will try to convince former Monaco team-mate Kylian Mbappe to join him at Liverpool.

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho swapped the Ligue 1 side for Liverpool in a deal worth €45 million (£39m/$52m) as the Reds embarked on something of a summer transfer spending spree.

Jurgen Klopp has also signed Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker in the summer window, as the Merseysiders look to close the gap on Premier League champions Manchester City in the 2018-19 campaign.

And now Fabinho wants Mbappe, who was one of the stand-out performers at the World Cup as he scored four goals to help propel Didier Deschamps' to the title, to join him at Anfield.

"He [Mbappe] has already said this season he will remain at PSG, but I will try to slowly to convince him to come over," Fabinho said.
