SUNSET by Oswald Mbuyiseni Mtshali

The sun spun like

a tossed coin.

It whirled on the azure sky,

it clattered into the horizon,

it clicked in the slot,

and neon-lights popped

and blinked 'Time expired',

as of a parking meter.
