Can Lizard Kill a Man

The majority of lizard species pose no threat to humans and are not capable of killing a person. Most lizards are small, non-venomous, and their primary defense mechanism is to flee when they feel threatened. However, there are some larger species of monitor lizards, such as the Komodo dragon, that can be dangerous to humans.

Komodo dragons are the largest living lizards and are native to Indonesia. While they are generally shy and avoid human contact, they have been known to attack and kill humans on rare occasions. Komodo dragons have strong jaws, sharp teeth, and a venomous bite that can cause serious injury or even death if left untreated.

It's important to note that such incidents are extremely rare, and the average person is unlikely to encounter a situation where a lizard poses a significant threat to their life. It's always recommended to exercise caution and respect when encountering any wild animal, including lizards, to avoid unnecessary conflicts or harm.
