Buhari Reacts to Death of Emir of Awe, Abubakar.

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the Awe traditional council, the government and people of Nasarawa State on the death of the Emir of Awe, Alhaji Abubakar Umar II.

Alhaji Abubakar Umar II died on Saturday at a hospital in Abuja, following a brief illness.

A statement signed by Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and publicity, Garba Shehu read,” President Muhammadu Buhari extends his sincere condolences to the late Emir’s family and the people of Awe whom he led for many years with dedication and unrelenting commitment to peace and development."
